We bought our Artesian spa several years ago and although we have been working through our dealer, our results have very disappointing.
After buying one of their larger more expensive models we had a pump and a computer go out almost immediately. We demanded a replacement tub. Surprisingly they replaced the unit for which another pump failed, and the computer failed. This time they only replaced the faulty units.
During both of the computer failures, the ozone system saturated the tub and aged all the controls, pillows and the cover. The dealer now claims that Artesian will no longer cover anything since we are now out of warranty even though the damage occurred early in the life of the unit.
So here we are - four years into an extremely expensive unit that is going to cost us at least $3K to repair to a reasonable level. The jet housings are worn out and "shooting" the jets out into the tub at surprising times, the pillows are "loosing their skin" and the controls are loosing their buttons and look more like "sick skin" than the metallic gray that they started life as. The cover (also from Artesian) is pealing vinyl.
When I asked the dealer for replacement "non-shooting jets" and pillows per their promise to work with me, I received a total of a 15% reduction off of retail prices. What a deal for something that I did not cause.
Needless to say - this dealer is off the list (we buy a new tub every four years) and Artesian is also off the list.
My suggestion - look elsewhere. My wife now refers to this tub as the "artesian trash" in the yard.
And to answer those who think that this has anything to do with the users - there are two of us using the tub about twice a week - certainly not what anyone would call "extreme users." And we maintain the tub at a better than recommended rate than what is recommended by both the dealer and Artesian.
Again save your money and time and look at something like Sundance since we have had real good experience with two of these in the past. Our dealer switched brands and we went along for a very BAD RIDE...
