Best hot tub we've ever owned
I've had hot tubs my whole life. First was a hot spring, then a jacuzzi, then a couple of used ones that I can't remember the brand on. When the last one died we decided to go new and did a ton of research. It came down to Bullfrog and Artesian. Boy am I glad we got the artesian.
The footblaster things are amazing! There is a whole entire motor dedicated just to powering the feet. The neck jets are super powerful, actually all of the jets are super powerful. But my favorite is the low chemical system. This spa is so much easier to maintain than any of my others. Just replace this little cartridge once per month and bam, all is good. No chemical smells.
We've had it for a few years now and after seeing some of these bad reviews, I thought I'd chime in. We've only ever had one service issue and was a quick and easy fix that didn't cost us a thing. I've called the factory with a few questions and they were always great to work with and really helpful.

Tropic Seas Spa (Kiona) spa purchased January 2019
I purchased this spa in January of 2019. had nothing but trouble from day one.
The spa is set up to run off 220v w/gfci. My side of the electrical is correct. The spa trips at Random times of the day. I have to reset it in the morning and every evening.
Local tech from Oklahoma City represents Leisure Time Pools and Spa did come to my resident to trouble shoot the problem. After a couple hrs at my resident he came to the conclusion I had a terminal loose so he torqued it down tight. Once they left within two hrs it tripped once again. Since that time, Leisure Pool tried to have me trouble shoot over the phone by unplugging different connections.
It still continued to trip. I have another call into Leisure pool and SPA on ( 4-15-19) OKC where I purchased it . Not sure what the next plan of attach will be. My hunch is this will not get resolved without a lot of threats.
Would I buy another Tropic SPA?
Probably not ! I paid 7k for this and have not been satisfied with the local support I have received.

Very poor warranty service
since July 2018 I have called my local hot tub provider, Tub Tech, when they do answer, "it is on back order I will call you back tomorrow" tomorrow NEVER comes, now their phone has been disconnected!!! and I also called Bob Gilmore at Artesian to obtain a warranty heater cable that had failed.
Numerous calls, emails, to no avail Bob Gilmore could no even sell me a cable that was under warranty "go on line and search for Hot Tub Parts" was his response. If I were to obtain the cable elsewhere and install it, it would void the warrant, not that it is any to start with....Freezing weather is upon us in Colorado

Buyer beware
I would not give them one star if I didn't have too. Buyer BEWARE of this Company..Valentine Spa and pools.
They sell Artesian spas and they are crap. We bought ours less than 5 years ago and the acrylic is separating from the fiberglass already. Valentine's response to me was that I set the temperature about 94 degrees and use chemicals in the spa, by the way chemical in which they sold me. Artesian first stated the warranty was out because it is over 3 years old, when I bought the spa I was told there was a lifetime warranty on the tub itself, now they are telling me we melted the acrylic.
They don't know exactly how we melted it but it could be from a cigarette, chemicals, or even the light shining off a window into the spa. When I asked how the light off a window would melt the acrylic through the water because the area is in the bottom seat area and we also have 2 other thinned acrylic areas on the other side of the tub as well, Allen got upset. I told him no one in the house smokes either, so he stated don't know how you melted the acrylic but that's what’s happened. We had a person who knows lots about spa been in business a long time and said we take really great care of our spa, and he has never seen anything like this.
SO A WARNING TO ANYONE IN THE MARKET FOR BUYING A SPA STAY AWAY FROM VALENTINE SPA AND POOL AND ARTESIAN SPA'S. THEY ARE BOTH CRAP

Owner since May/June 2016... Low quality... Unreliable... Many parts replaced
Ive owned the Artesian Platinum Elite Piper Glenn 8x8 Sapa for about 1.5 years and paid about $11,000. It was installed around May/June 2016.
Since we owned this spa, it has had a constant need for service and has been completely unreliable. The various functional failures have led to several components being replaced and many many days/weeks of down time for the spa... including 2 ozonator replacements, 2 circ pump replacements, 2 heater replacements, 1 main control board, 1 relay extension board. I am not the type to write reviews, but am simply fed up with the low quality unreliable product that Artesian represents.
I purchased the high end model with expectation that it will be a reliable long lasting luxury for our home. Unfortunately it has only been a problem. Although the spa is extremely problematic, and all of the above comments are true, I do want to say that Rich at Summit Spas has provided excellent support in trying to keep this unit working for my family. This review in no way suggests any wrongdoing or lack of service excellence at Summit spas.
The review is 100% targeted at Artesian, their lack of product quality and the terrible experience I have had and continue to have with this investment. Extremely disappointed and looking for Artesian to make this right.
I need this spa to be replaced or a full refund. Thomas - Colorado
