Ive owned 3 spas, after looking and hearing from the sales person that these spas a are quiet, made in the USA.... i decide to purchase one, 10K plus... BEWARE the worst SPA out there, they delivered it and it didn't even turn out, after 3 attempts to call the company, the only one that was nice was the girl that answered the phone.. Found out it had a bad pump,, theres no way they did a inspection before it was delivered, once I call and talked to the expert and told him, he was made and pretty much called me a lier, then hung up on me.. These guys and there SPAS are POS.... Go Buy one and have the same problems I had and find out for yourself...

Bought a Artesian spa, nothing but problems from get go. First, it didn't even have power when the election hooked it up, problem with a motor grounding, obvious they don't do quality control, Called Corporate, the girl that answered was nice and professional, once transferred to a tech, they got mad and hug up on me... saying they do quality control, but my spa didn't work for 3 weeks once delivered, Sorry Artisan you have the worst spa out there....consumers email me oldwestposters@***.com and shoot me your phone number.

Best hot tub we've ever owned

I've had hot tubs my whole life. First was a hot spring, then a jacuzzi, then a couple of used ones that I can't remember the brand on. When the last one died we decided to go new and did a ton of research. It came down to Bullfrog and Artesian. Boy am I glad we got the artesian.

The footblaster things are amazing! There is a whole entire motor dedicated just to powering the feet. The neck jets are super powerful, actually all of the jets are super powerful. But my favorite is the low chemical system. This spa is so much easier to maintain than any of my others. Just replace this little cartridge once per month and bam, all is good. No chemical smells.

We've had it for a few years now and after seeing some of these bad reviews, I thought I'd chime in. We've only ever had one service issue and was a quick and easy fix that didn't cost us a thing. I've called the factory with a few questions and they were always great to work with and really helpful.

We have had our 2014 artesian hydrangea garden spa for years....and we only had to replace the the faceplate once. We will get it serviced this year, but we recommend it.

Which one did you get? Are you still happy with it several years later?

One thing we noticed with other brands, it was hard to find one in our budget. LOTS of choices with Artesian with many price points.

How do you find the noise level? We just had our Artesian Elite delivered a week ago and our neighbors have complained about the noise in the middle of the night and that their house vibrates from it.

I have checked the decibel levels when just the circ pump is running and it averages about 70 dB. The dealer said it was the circ pump, they replaced that today but the noise level is no better. We read this is one of the quietest on the market...first time we have ever owned one so we had no idea until the neighbors complained.

We are retired and bought it for health benefits. Any comments on noise levels would be appreciated!

Tropic Seas Spa (Kiona) spa purchased January 2019

I purchased this spa in January of 2019. had nothing but trouble from day one.

The spa is set up to run off 220v w/gfci. My side of the electrical is correct. The spa trips at Random times of the day. I have to reset it in the morning and every evening.

Local tech from Oklahoma City represents Leisure Time Pools and Spa did come to my resident to trouble shoot the problem. After a couple hrs at my resident he came to the conclusion I had a terminal loose so he torqued it down tight. Once they left within two hrs it tripped once again. Since that time, Leisure Pool tried to have me trouble shoot over the phone by unplugging different connections.

It still continued to trip. I have another call into Leisure pool and SPA on ( 4-15-19) OKC where I purchased it . Not sure what the next plan of attach will be. My hunch is this will not get resolved without a lot of threats.

Would I buy another Tropic SPA?

Probably not ! I paid 7k for this and have not been satisfied with the local support I have received.

Need Service and American Sales deny us service

We have a Artesian Spa that we bought about 10 years ago. We went to fill it up this year and discovered leaks. Emptied spa and called American Sales customer service number which we received from the Lake Zurich store. We tried to set up an appointment with Sandy. Short version is that we went back and forth with dates since they seem only to have one tech at the Tinley Park location. He was going on vacation during the holiday season. We set it up for the 3rd of January since my wife is a teacher and still home. Asked Sandy if sending pictures of the parts needed would help Her answer was " the tech will have all the parts". Eric came out on the 3rd and he said "would have been great to have had pictures so I could have ordered the parts needed. He said that he would go back to the warehouse and see if the parts were there and call us back that afternoon." No phone call. Called customer service before 5:00pm on the 3rd and left a message. My wife called in the the morning and asked for a supervisor. (Tony) He was in a meeting and would call me back. Sandy stated that she would get a hold of Eric. Eric called a few minutes later and said" the higher ups do not want to take on the job." We are looking for someone to come and service our spa so we can use it. Please help us. Very poor warranty service

since July 2018 I have called my local hot tub provider, Tub Tech, when they do answer, "it is on back order I will call you back tomorrow" tomorrow NEVER comes, now their phone has been disconnected!!! and I also called Bob Gilmore at Artesian to obtain a warranty heater cable that had failed.

Numerous calls, emails, to no avail Bob Gilmore could no even sell me a cable that was under warranty "go on line and search for Hot Tub Parts" was his response. If I were to obtain the cable elsewhere and install it, it would void the warrant, not that it is any to start with....Freezing weather is upon us in Colorado

I would not give them one star if I didn't have too. Buyer BEWARE of this Company..Valentine Spa and pools.

They sell Artesian spas and they are crap. We bought ours less than 5 years ago and the acrylic is separating from the fiberglass already. Valentine's response to me was that I set the temperature about 94 degrees and use chemicals in the spa, by the way chemical in which they sold me. Artesian first stated the warranty was out because it is over 3 years old, when I bought the spa I was told there was a lifetime warranty on the tub itself, now they are telling me we melted the acrylic.

They don't know exactly how we melted it but it could be from a cigarette, chemicals, or even the light shining off a window into the spa. When I asked how the light off a window would melt the acrylic through the water because the area is in the bottom seat area and we also have 2 other thinned acrylic areas on the other side of the tub as well, Allen got upset. I told him no one in the house smokes either, so he stated don't know how you melted the acrylic but that's what’s happened. We had a person who knows lots about spa been in business a long time and said we take really great care of our spa, and he has never seen anything like this.

SO A WARNING TO ANYONE IN THE MARKET FOR BUYING A SPA STAY AWAY FROM VALENTINE SPA AND POOL AND ARTESIAN SPA'S. THEY ARE BOTH CRAP

I have now enjoyed my Artesian spa for 8 years. I bought a 52 jet Antigua model. My wife loves the neck and shoulder jets and cant live without it. I had to replace my cover after 6 years because it became heavy. We live in Canada and so the insulation was very important to us. We are glad it has full foam because its very energy efficient. I stay on top of cleaning my filters and check my chemicals once a week. I think that helps a lot. Other than that I have had no problems. My advice is to find a good dealer to help you out. My dealer has been great. My neighbor also bought one and has now had his for 5 years. We both love it.

Ive owned the Artesian Platinum Elite Piper Glenn 8x8 Sapa for about 1.5 years and paid about $11,000. It was installed around May/June 2016.

Since we owned this spa, it has had a constant need for service and has been completely unreliable. The various functional failures have led to several components being replaced and many many days/weeks of down time for the spa... including 2 ozonator replacements, 2 circ pump replacements, 2 heater replacements, 1 main control board, 1 relay extension board. I am not the type to write reviews, but am simply fed up with the low quality unreliable product that Artesian represents.

I purchased the high end model with expectation that it will be a reliable long lasting luxury for our home. Unfortunately it has only been a problem. Although the spa is extremely problematic, and all of the above comments are true, I do want to say that Rich at Summit Spas has provided excellent support in trying to keep this unit working for my family. This review in no way suggests any wrongdoing or lack of service excellence at Summit spas.

The review is 100% targeted at Artesian, their lack of product quality and the terrible experience I have had and continue to have with this investment. Extremely disappointed and looking for Artesian to make this right.

This is a company driven by profits not customer service. I have had issues with my spa during the warranty period and no one not even the dealer rep was willing to help with the issues. I had a private service guy come in and repair my tub due to the lack of support I received from Artesian and the dealer. Buyer beware Artesian is only good for taking your money not standing behind their product. Both the dealer and Artesian in Las Vegas were not willing to repair the unit. The tub is only 2.5 years old I cannot beleive the lack of service this company has.

My pillows have also peeled and all my electronics are failing. Heater plug melted in the control box.

The heater, 2 pumps and the ozonator all replaced and still trips the breaker. Warranty people blame it on me! Really?. Poor poor company, no integrity and no ethics.

I am now playing the 'hunt for service' game myself! Spa is just 2 years old...leaking somewhere....pillows bubbled and ready to peel.

The problem is they seem to have no phone number listed in their user manual? Im contacting the store where I purchased this tub because they have awesome service and I am sure they can help me...but I find it odd that a manual with a warranty doesn't offer a 'service number' and on their website they don't offer a phone number or link for service help.

I purchased an island Hrand Bahama in 2015. My wife and I previously owned a hot spring sovereign. There is no comparison between the two. Nothing but trouble with Hot springs!! Terrible spa. On the other hand the Artesian has been trouble free since day one and is much more therapeutic. Thanks Artesian!! Also we found out hot springs is built in Mexico vs Las Vegas USA

Artesian Spas - Stand by your spa
Valves that leak in the first year or two, watch out your gonna get ripped a new one. First the certified idiot will come out and put putty on the leak, charge you for the trip parts etc. You will be calling back in short order and be charged again..., ..., until you get the message that they dont stand behind their product and your on your own. Good luck! Best to call a plumber and electrician cause its a human hazard trap.
