Poor quality and service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

bought one of these spas 6 months ago and had trouble from day 1. My local dealer has been great but they have poor support from Artesian and their hands are tied.

Right when it was delivered the water fall did not work properly and had to be repaired. dealer came back next day. Then after a few days the topside control would work intermittently. Jets and lights go off intermittently.

This has been going on for 6 months and Artesian keeps sending my dealer a new topside control expecting a different result.

It's still not working properly and at this pint I don't want it any more. My dealer is willing to take it back and replace with a different brand but is getting no help from Artesian.Dont buy Artesian!

Quality issues

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Good day. I am new to this forum and I am not really sure if this is the right approach to my problems.

I purchased an Artesian Elite Spa in October 2020.

It was a quick decision purchase due to limited stock at the spa dealer during the pandemic.

I purchased the spa from Comox Fireplace in Courtenay, BC, Canada.

I had several repeating issues with the spa, which makes me really unhappy with the overall quality of the product.

1. The circulation pump broke within six months and had to be replaced. Wait time over a year.

2. Two of three pillows starting to come apart.

Developing bubbles. Do you know the night warranty and said I used the wrong chemicals, which is surprising as one was in mint condition.

3. The control panel was replaced three times so far. Once going out completely and then developing lines and areas of non-response.

4.

The LED strips in the fountain had to be replaced twice. I had to pay for that as well as they are not covered under warranty. Just last week they starting to go out in the green shade once again.

5. Six out of eight control knobs are hard to move and two actually broke off.

Valve and buttons were replaced. Stickers that are not matching the position of the valve anymore are not covered under warranty.

I do not understand how a $16,000 spa can be manufactured with such low quality pieces. This machine wasnt even a reminiscence of the pandemic. Cannot even imagine what the quality must be like right now.

I noticed that my third control panel is completely different in quality and size.

Makes me feel hopeful that the pieces in the future, which I now have to pay for, will be of better quality.

Will never touch Artesian Elite (an oxymoron in itself) Spas again.

For your information fellow forum members.

Hank

Hot tub has not worked more than it has worked

Artesian Spas - Hot tub has not worked more than it has worked

Artesian Spas - Hot tub has not worked more than it has worked - Image 3

From the minute it was delivered it hasn't worked correctly. The company we purchased the hot tub from, set it up and it didn't run.

They went back to the store to retrieve A new motherboard because the buttons didn't work. But upon getting to the store, the one they were going to bring out. Had loose wires, so they couldn't bring that out to us.

They then returned to our home and took this one apart and found that the wires were. Disconnected on this one as well.

Several months later, it started leaking and it was in the winter months, so They told us we needed to wait until the weather got better. Of course, the hot tub was still under warranty. At this point, but by the time they came back out in the Spring, it was out of warranty for the leak. After spending $500 to get it repaired.

Which ended up being a faulty fitting. We Spent the entire winter filling the hot tub up everyday. As it was dropping about 8 inches. And we didn't want it to freeze up and bust.

When they were able to repair that part. Then the motherboard where the buttons are to make the jets work quit working.

We spent another $200 on that electrical panel. Since then, it started leaking again and the repairman told us to try and use some stop leak. We did this and it didn't work.

So we had to hire someone else to come out and repair it yet again. In the meantime, we had to have the hot tub moved over 10 feet so we could repair our deck that it was sitting on because all of the water leaking had rotted the wood on our deck. Upon moving the hot tub back to its original spot, It's started leaking again. At the same time, there's Leek, what's happening?

It started blowing fuses that my Husband replaced and the fuse would blow immediately. We purchased another motherboard and it's still blowing fuses. We are so done with this spa. The hot tub has not worked.

More than it has worked since we purchased it. The hot tub that we had previously, which was a Catalina spa, work for 13 years without any problem. We are so disappointed in the quality workmanship of this spa.

And to think, can we spend several $1000 on it? And didn't really get to enjoy it at all.

Bought a Grand Cayman Elite fully loaded at our last house, from day one the thing was a lemon, leaks, pump issues, waterfall slanted, lights burned out, and every communication to Artesian was not our problem call your dealer. Built a new house during Covid, as a 3 time purchaser at our dealer they pulled strings for us to get one sooner than most folks but it had to be Artesian. This time we bought a basic Grand Cayman 52 to ensure we wouldnt have the problems we had before... 5 months in and the control panel has no display, now we have no tub for a month minimum.

Frog @Ease Smart Chlorine system will not sustain the correct level even with the alkalinity and ph levels perfectly balanced. Contacted Kevin at Artesian Spa factory support. He was absolutely NO help at all. We already had the local dealer do a service call and he said it was a factory design flaw and we would have to manually add chlorine. ix very wo days.NO

I have read a lot of bad reviews on this site so I want to share my experience. I bought an Artesian Elite Dove Canyon spa in 2004 and it has been a great spa. My family had used the tub 3-5 times a week for almost two decades and I have found the tub to be extremely reliable. Replaced the circulator pump 3 years ago after running continuously for 15 years. Chemicals eventually before down the materials of the pillows, but understandable considering the circumstances. We chose not to replace them. A couple of the jets have broken off based off

Works great, when it works.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought an Island Grand Bahama in Jan 2020. A few months later a pump broke and had to be replaced. It was replaced under warranty, sure, but it took two months because the part had to be ordered from Artesian and it was back-ordered. It worked great again for a few months, and then another pump broke (!). Now it has been four months that I've been waiting for a replacement pump from Artesian because it's on back-order. One year of ownership and I have gotten to use my hot tub for 6 months of it. It's a great hot tub when it's working, but apparently Artesian cares more about new sales than it does about satisfaction after the sale. All in all, I regret the purchase, and wish I had gotten a Master or Hot Springs instead.

1 year and 1 week after install one of the pumps died. We called the local dealer 150 miles away. 2 months out to come fix. I'm willing to buy the part but they buy pallet purchase only cheap pumps from balboa . artesian spas wont sell me one either. So by the time I buy a pump that should be fixed under warranty its been marked up 3 times. 2 month to get a 1 year old $12,000 hot tub fixed is beyond horrible service.

Leaks and more leaks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We bought our spa a Quail Ridge in Sept of 2010. Leaks began about 3 years later. The spa had a 5-year warranty, so it was my lack of follow-up that I did not push them for real repairs. It is located on a second floor deck, so I was told by the dealer that the warranty work would be expensive. As a fix, the dealer, Avalon Spas of Milton VT had me add stop leak. We did this several times, no help. It needed water every two or three weeks, so I just let it go and added water. Three years ago the problem became severe, it was down about 6 inches every 3 days. I took it upon myself to explore the issue. I removed the panels and found a major leak at a glue joint, This should not happen, jets, fittings, etc the normal wear and tear places for leaks, all seemed fine, but a leak at a glue joint is just bad workmanship. PVC pipe is pretty easy to glue, it looked like the joint was not completely glued. I repaired this, then a year later the major leakage began again. Avalon recommended their repair person, Once again I did much of the leg work, removed panels and insulation and found the leak. This leak was beyond my abilities, so he came out and disconnected the tub, turned it on its side for access to the bottom and found poor glue work on a large manifold. They replaced the manifold in 2018, the repair leaked, not surprisingly as there are about 8 hoses going into it. They returned in summer of 2019 and did more work on the manifold and got the tub running again. It was not perfect, the tub needed to be filled again every two or three weeks but I was satisfied in a compromised way as this is much better than every three days. style=" Way out of warranty, so no recourse (when I had the initial leaks I contacted Artesian, they said that all repair is up to the dealer and offered no help) and of course the dealer is no help as all repair is ala carte.

Need replacement filter for the forsynthia garden spa

DonCostumer service took my call &;;;;;amp; refused to give me the spa filter model # to replace it . The manual does not state the model # which I had to print out @ staples for$12, because it was NOT provided . Horrible experience after spending over 6,000 dollars on the spa tub . I would NEVER recommend this company . All I asked was for a model # . If I knew this company was like this , I would have never purchased this tub . I know a lot of people who are looking to buy spas , I will make sure that they do not buy from this company .

Purchased from a dealer in Charlotte NC. I have since learned the dealer died and company closed, but above and beyond that the dealer shouldn't have sold to me based on the fact I was 60 miles away and out of their service area... so now I have a tub that I paid $10,000 for that is 3 years old and no one to fix it. I called Artesian and they told me it wasn't their issue.... I couldn't be more pissed
